The Deadlift: Explanation and Information
"The deadlift is a weight training exercise where one lifts a loaded barbell (or, in the case of the trapbar deadlift, a loaded trapbar) off the ground from a stabilized bent-over position. It is one of the three gauges of powerlifting, and is an exercise for overall body development."

2 Videos explaining the setup of the deadlift. Work on your form, and you will be able to lift heavy soon!

  7. We did this excercise on my old weightlifting team, the most important is to keep your back completely straight so the strain will go on your legs.

  10. It is so hard to make a propper form. I thought I got the correct one, then filmed myself and realized how crappy it was. Now I dropped 20kg and try to make a good form with high reps.
Oh man I also got to train my hamstrings because they block a good deadlift... not as easy as I wanted it to be. Anyway all you guys who never heared of it: do deadlifts!
